TRAIN WITH GRAIN. The Train with Grain integrated marketing program was Bob’s first foray in marketing to a passionate but narrow audience: ie. the muddy and marvelous fall sport of cyclocross. The program was born to invite CX racers (later to include triathletes and road racers) to experience the performance boost a steady diet of natural grains can give. By connecting this community via Facebook and the BRM blog, sharing and visibility for the brand exploded. Athletes eagerly folded the program into their cycling and social lives.
