Congrats to the GB Grant Winner: Community Warehouse
We often take for granted having a cozy sofa to sit on, a soft bed to sleep on or a set of pots with which to cook our meals. But for many low income families throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington who may have lost all their possessions during these hard economic times, they need a resource that can help them get their life and home back on track. That’s where the Community Warehouse comes in, this year’s recipient of the Grady Britton $25,000 Grant for in-kind creative and marketing services.
The Grady Britton Grant is awarded yearly to a non-profit making a difference in the local community, and the Community Warehouse fits that description to a T. They take gently-used furniture and other household items and redistribute them to needy families. The amazing team there asked for our help to spread the word that they need both more donors and more recipients for these goods, and the Grady Britton team can’t wait to get started creating a brand program that will help them do just that.
Now in its fourth year, the grant has helped some really amazing organizations such as S.M.A.R.T, The Dougy Center and Oregon Partnership. We’re so proud to have contributed to their missions and efforts to improve our community.
