Social Media. Maybe you’ve heard of it?
Twitter. Facebook. LinkedIn. And those are probably just the ones you’ve heard of.
With the ever-multiplying list of social networks available for our audiences to engage with — and, let’s be honest, even Oprah’s talking them up — you need to know what Social Media is, who’s using them, and how they’re affecting your brands and business.
So in this old-fashioned blogpost sort of way, Grady Britton announces a light-hearted evening of discovery of the phenomenon that is this now not-so-new-but-still-hard-to-wrangle media. GB’s own Dayn Wilberding (@dayn) will (begin?) to make sense of all the Friending, Following and Fanning that’s going on. Our goal: To define it enough to show you what a powerful, influential and relevant core element it can — and should — be in your marketing mix. Especially today, given… everything.
Not to worry, there will be wine and comfort foods available.
The opportunities for brands to be great has never been… greater… which is why we’re here. We look forward to sharing this with you!
